Best Western Plus Mill Creek Inn Salem, Salem

The hotel grounds were beautiful, and we were delighted to park our car in front of our spacious and clean room every time. The rooms were huge, clean, and comfortable, boasting a living room with a large patio overlooking the Pacific Ocean. However, the TV and air conditioning systems were not ideal. The staff was wonderful, very accommodating, and hand-picked to be cheerful and helpful. The location was convenient and well-maintained, with plenty of clean towels available, but the TV system and air conditioning left room for improvement. Dining at Denny's nearby, while close, wasn't my top choice, though the poached eggs were good. The absence of takeout service at the hotel was a bit frustrating, but customers found this facility a superb choice with a DVD rental library and gas station across the street.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Checking in was easy, the room was spacious and very clean, and I was provided with plenty of towels and toiletries. However, some areas of the hotel could use improvements. The location is convenient, situated between downtown Salem and south Salem, and close to Dutch Bros and affordable convenience stores.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's cleanliness and comfort, as well as its convenient location near Costco, Walmart, and Lowe's. However, the room I received was not what I expected based on what I had paid for.
